At Springbrook Family Dentistry, we've invested in state-of-the-art technology to give you the most effective, and comfortable treatment possible. Our advanced technology allows us to do everything from taking highly detailed images of your mouth and also provide the highest dental care possible.

Digital Panoramic X-ray
Our digital panoramic x-ray is an important machine that provides us with information that is not typically obtained with traditional intraoral x-rays. In one shot, our panoramic x-ray provides us with an entire picture of your whole jaw, including all the teeth, the jaw joints, and sinuses. The American Dental Association recommends all patients receive a panoramic image every 3-5 years to rule out infection, cancer, tumors, and many more problems that can be identified on this type of x-ray. Because our panoramic x-ray machine is digital, it also means you will receive very minimal radiation during your x-ray.

Intraoral Camera
Have you ever wondered what your dentist or hygienist is seeing as they look through your mouth? At Springbrook Family Dentistry, we are able to show you just that with the help on an intraoral camera. An intraoral camera is a pen-like camera that can fit in the mouth and take pictures to show you any problems in your mouth. Dr. Finney and her hygienists can then display these photos on the computer screen for you to view while they explain their findings. Being able to understand what is happening inside your mouth will enable you to make the right decisions for you and your oral health.
Digital X-rays
Springbrook Family Dentistry is proud to provide our office with digital x-rays as an excellent alternative to film x-rays. Our digital x-rays allow us to see exactly what is going on with your tooth in just moments, eliminating the waiting time for processing film. They also allow us to enlarge and add contrast to your x-rays so Dr. Finney can get a better look at small details. Even better, digital x-rays are the safest x-rays on the market. The radiation exposure with digital x-rays is up to 90% less than the radiation from film x-rays. Additionally, digital x-rays do not require the hazardous chemicals for development that film requires for development.

Hypochlorous Acid Fogging
Our office uses hypochlorous acid fogging after all aerosol producing procedures to help ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Hypochlorous acid (HOCL) is also known as electrolyzed water and is a non-toxic yet highly bactericidal substance. This means that it kills bacteria and viruses similarly to bleach, but is 100% safe, non-irritating and non-corrosive. We are able to make hypochlorous acid right at our office with nothing but water, salt and vinegar using the Eco One system.
After each aerosol producing procedure we use our fogger to spray a very fine mist of hypochlorous acid into the rooms in order to clean the air. This helps to remove any virus particles that might be airborne before anyone has the opportunity to breathe them in. Hospitals, rental cars and hotels have been using this method for many years to help clean between clients/patients.
While hypochlorous acid is just one of the many safety protocols we have implemented due to Covid-19, we think it makes a huge difference in keeping our patients and staff healthy during these unprecedented times
Reme Halo Air Purifier
We recently added the Reme Halo Air Purifier to our HVAC system to help fight Covid-19. As air moves through our central air and heating system the Reme Halo kills 99% of viruses, bacteria and mold before that air can be put back out into the building. This technology has been used in U.S. hospitals to reduce Staph (MRSA) by 99% and was approved and used in China during the SARS outbreak.
